Improving Voting and Elections

Are elections in the United Kingdom fit for purpose?

The evidence suggests both yes and no; while the First Past the Post voting system was recently reaffirmed by referendum, it continues to produce anomalous minority results in by-elections and looks all set to produce more distorted and unequal results.

Articles and research in this section will look at these questions and more, but will focus on one overriding question; how do we improve elections in the UK?
