Extending Human and Civic Rights

There is little use in holding elections if they are not held fairly, regularly, and free of tampering.

Likewise, the label of democracy means little if human and civil rights are not rigorously and purposefully upheld by the state.

This section will look at ways in which human and civil rights are upheld.
