The Audit has published three major democratic audits of the UK and a wide variety of reports and briefings on elections, party funding, boundary changes, quangos and other democratic issues in the UK. The assessment framework which we developed in the UK context during the 1990s has since provided the foundation for a series of equivalent studies in democracies worldwide. Further details about all this aspects of our work can be found in the Auditing Democracy section of this site.
The links to the left provide further information about both the UK Democratic Audits and about the additional research we have undertaken in our core areas of expertise. In addition, the section on Audits Worldwide provides details of how the Democratic Audit approach has been developed, and subsequently adopted, for use in a range of countries.
Most of our previous reports, briefings and other published papers can be accessed via the publications section of this site. Unfortunately, we cannot make the text of previous full Audits available, as these were published in book format.
